SAILBOAT RENTALS
Since 1979, Nor'Banks Sailing has been the Premier Location on the
Outer Banks to go Sailing! Our steady breezes, warm waters and
uncrowded conditions make for some of
the best Small Boat Sailing on the East Coast. The Currituck Sound
runs from 5-10 feet deep in our Sailing Area with average winds of
8-16 knots throughout the Summer.
In 2008, our over 20 boat fleet will feature completely refurbished
Flying Scots along with 2007-8 Hobie Cats (Waves and Getaways),
Brand New Windrider Trimarans and Weta Trimarans.

Flying
Scots have been an integral part of our rental and
instructional fleet since 1991. These 19' Sloop
Rigged (Main & Jib) Daysailors comfortably handle crews of
1-6 adults. We have Spinnakers available for Experienced
Crews ($40/charge). Nor'Banks has 5 Flying Scots and they
have all been recently refurbished with new paint, rigging
and sails.

Getaway Catamarans!
These 17' Catamarans have a boomless main, roller furling
jib, wing seats and a�
forward trampoline for fun, simple and fast sailing for
crews of 1-4 adults. These are our most popular rental
boats!

Our fleet of 4 Windrider 17's
are also very popular rental boats. These colorful 17
foot trimarans are comfortable, fun, easy, stable and
quick. They are rigged with a main and roller furling
jib and can be sailed by crews of 1-4 in the 2 cockpits
and 2 tramp seats.

New for 2008 will be our Weta Trimarans. �These
14 foot trimarans are being imported and sold in the
US by Nor'Banks and we will have them in our rental
fleet this year. �They come with a main, jib and
reacher (for those with experience using headsails)
and sail great. �Dinghy Sailors and Catamaran
Sailors will both love these boats.

Nor'Banks has a fleet 5 Hobie Waves.
These 14' Catamarans come with a mainsail and are for crews
of 1-2 adults. Optional JIB is available. The Waves will
also be used in our
Youth Camps,
Racing Classes
and the
Duck
Yacht Club
and will be racing in our Monday night
series.
